Modern Indian Restaurant worth visiting
I must start by saying that I have had the opportunity to visit some restaurants around the UK, but none gave me the same feeling as Yukti. This small but elegant Indian restaurant always makes me feel like I'm entering a huge, blueberry flavored candy. The combination of modern design and lighting with traditional Indian tapestry is strangely appealing (it's simply not something you would think to associate). The ambiance created is highly interesting and is quite appreciated by Liverpool's more fashionable section of the population. The food is very ambitious!! I've had a seared gressingham duck breast with broccoli, cauliflower and garam masala that was definitely in the my personal top 5 duck based dishes. Also, the Gajar Halwa, a North Indian dessert I fell in love with recently, was absolutely great. Still, the arrangement of the food sometimes tends to be a bit pretentious, but the experience is, overall, worth it. I would not recommend this restaurant for a nice meal with your parents, but it's perfect for a dinner with friends your own age that may be looking for an interesting restaurant and a pleasant experience.
